Nneka Ubosi is a sustainability and business strategy advisor with over two decades of experience across finance, energy, real estate, and project delivery. Nneka holds a Graduate Certificate in Climate Change Policy and Practice from the University of Toronto, with specialization in GHG accounting, sustainability reporting, and emissions verification and validation. She also holds a bachelor's degree in finance, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management. She is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), a distinction that has shaped her approach to stakeholder engagement, deal structuring, and value optimization. As Managing Director of Certis Global Advisory Group, she leads the firm's operations and drives the execution of ESG and carbon market initiatives from concept to implementation. With expertise in climate finance, GHG accounting, and project management, she specializes in structuring investment-ready programs and aligning sustainability strategies with commercial outcomes that are commercially viable, compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks, and aligned with long-term organizational growth. Dr. Felix Nwaishi is an environmental and climate scientist, a Canada Research Chair, and former Director of the Institute for Environmental Sustainability. He holds a PhD in Ecosystem Science and Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an MSc in Environmental Science and Climate Change from Manchester Metropolitan University. As Principal Advisor and Co-Founder of Certis, he provides strategic leadership across climate policy, ESG, and carbon market development. His work bridges scientific research, policy, and investment, enabling governments and organizations to design evidence-based, fundable climate programs. He advises institutions on translating climate policy and ESG frameworksinto implementable, investment-ready programs through strategic stakeholder engagement.
