Nneka Ubosi is a sustainability and business strategy advisor with over two decades of experience across finance, energy, real estate, and project delivery. Nneka holds a Graduate Certificate in Climate Change Policy and Practice from the University of Toronto, with specialization in GHG accounting, sustainability reporting, and emissions verification and validation. She also holds a bachelor's degree in finance, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management. She is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), a distinction that has shaped her approach to stakeholder engagement, deal structuring, and value optimization. As Managing Director of Certis Global Advisory Group, she leads the firm's operations and drives the execution of ESG and carbon market initiatives from concept to implementation. With expertise in climate finance, GHG accounting, and project management, she specializes in structuring investment-ready programs and aligning sustainability strategies with commercial outcomes that are commercially viable, compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks, and aligned with long-term organizational growth. Dr. Felix Nwaishi

Dr. Felix Nwaishi is an environmental and climate scientist, a Canada Research Chair, and former Director of the Institute for Environmental Sustainability. He holds a PhD in Ecosystem Science and Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an MSc in Environmental Science and Climate Change from Manchester Metropolitan University. As Principal Advisor and Co-Founder of Certis, he provides strategic leadership across climate policy, ESG, and carbon market development. His work bridges scientific research, policy, and investment, enabling governments and organizations to design evidence-based, fundable climate programs. He advises institutions on translating climate policy and ESG frameworksinto implementable, investment-ready programs through strategic stakeholder engagement. With a strong track record of securing major research grants, he supports access to international climate funds through robust technical design and credible impact frameworks. Dr. Olusegun Oyewole

Dr. Olusegun Oyewole is an environmental scientist specializing in ecosystem science, blue carbon and nature-based solutions. He holds a PhD in environmental science from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Umeaand has conducted postdoctoral research in Canada, contributing to cutting-edge studies on ecosystem productivity. His research includes the development of innovative methodologies for measuring ecosystem processes, strengthening the scientific basis for carbon accounting and environmental monitoring in forestry. At Certis, he provides technical consultancy services for carbon market readiness, supporting the design of carbon projects, ecosystem restoration strategies, and the implementation of credible Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems. Chijioke Ogbogu

Chijioke Ogbogu is a governance and policy practitioner with over a decade of experience supporting institutional strengthening, stakeholder engagement, and regional governance initiatives across West Africa. She has worked within regional governance frameworks, including with the ECOWAS Commission and the United States Agency for International Development. Chijioke holds a postgraduate degree in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford, UK. Her professional interests include governance resilience, stakeholder engagement, and institutional responses to emerging environmental and policy frameworks. At Certis, she leads stakeholder engagement and policy advisory, working closely with governments, regional bodies, and development partners to advance climate policy implementation and carbon market readiness. With experience across industry and research, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to addressing climate and sustainability challenges.
